Jen-Col's Electronic Plan Room (E-Plan Room)
The following information details the steps required in order to access our FTP site and any tender documents that we may have posted. This is the only location that electronic plans will be made available through Jen-Col. For other projects that we may be tendering but are not posted on this site, please see below links to the Alberta COOLNet and Edmonton COOLNet.
The following instructions will guide you through the process to download documents.
For Internet Explorer users:
- Click on the link below and a Security Warning window should open. Select "Open". A second option is available for you to "Save" instead of selecting "Open" in step 1. This will allow you to save the shortcut link to a location on your computer, and then gain access through this shortcut in the future. A second Internet Explorer Security window may open. Select "Allow".
- A windows explorer window will now open. All documents will either be posted through Public Tenders or Invitational Tenders. For invitational tenders only, a password will be provided to the contractors that have been selected to tender.
For Firefox users:
- Click on the link below and a warning window will appear. Select "Save File" and click "OK".
- You will now be prompted to select a save location. It is important to remember this location, as this shortcut will allow you to open in windows explorer from your desktop, instead of repeating these steps.
- Double-click the shortcut to open the folder.
- A windows explorer window will now open. All documents will either be posted through Public Tenders or Invitational Tenders. For invitational tenders only, a password will be provided to the contractors that have been selected to tender.

COOLNet Planrooms
Many of our projects are publicly tendered and available through local construction associations. Jen-Col is a member of the Edmonton Construction Association (ECA) and the Peace River Construction Association (PRCA) as part of the Alberta Construction Association (ACA).
